MANILA, May 5 (Xinhua) -- The Philippines' total agricultural trade in March 2026 amounted to 2.62 billion U.S. dollars, up 6.5 percent from the previous year, according to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) released Monday.
The PSA said total agricultural trade in March 2026 was the highest since September 2025, at 2.63 billion dollars. In February 2026 and March 2025, the total agricultural trade recorded annual increases of 9.7 percent and 17.4 percent, respectively.
In March 2026, total agricultural exports were recorded at 727.17 million dollars, accounting for a 27.7 percent share of total agricultural trade, while agricultural imports accounted for 1.90 billion dollars, or 72.3 percent of total agricultural trade. ■
