BEIJING, May 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted northern and central Iran at 1647 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 30.59 degrees north latitude and 60.17 degrees east longitude. ■
