HANOI, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's total import-export turnover was estimated at 344.17 billion U.S. dollars in the first four months of 2026, up 24.2 percent year on year, local media VnEconomy reported Monday, citing the National Statistics Office (NSO).
During the period, the country earned about 168.53 billion dollars in export turnover, making an increase of 19.7 percent compared to the same time last year, while imports rose 28.7 percent to about 175.64 billion dollars, according to the NSO.
The United States remained Vietnam's largest export market during the four months, with export turnover reaching about 53.9 billion dollars, the report said.
Meanwhile, China was Vietnam's largest import market, with import turnover totaling about 69 billion dollars. ■
