WUHAN, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Currently, there are nearly 50 bridges completed or under construction along the 1061-kilometer main stream of the Yangtze River in Hubei Province, averaging one cross-river passage every 25 kilometers.
What used to be a time-consuming journey across the river can now be completed within 20 minutes, facilitating daily travel and accelerating regional collaborative development.
