ISLAMABAD, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Traffic restrictions around the Red Zone, home to government ministries and foreign missions in Pakistan's capital of Islamabad, would be lifted later Sunday, said Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in a social media post.
The Red Zone is also home to the Serena Hotel, the venue for the first round of talks between the United States and Iran.
In preparation for a possible second round of U.S.-Iran talks, Islamabad police said in a statement on April 19 that the Red Zone and its adjoining areas would be closed to all types of vehicles due to the arrival of foreign delegations. ■
