MOSCOW, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Russian forces have taken control of the settlement of Bochkovo in the Kharkiv Region and launched a large-scale strike against Ukraine's defense-industrial facilities, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have carried out strikes using long-range high-precision weapons based on land, air and sea, alongside strike drones, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the ministry, the targets included Ukraine's defense industrial base, its fuel and energy infrastructure, as well as port facilities that were used to support Ukrainian military operations.
"All designated targets have been struck, and the strike missions have been fully completed," the ministry said. ■
