JERUSALEM, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Hezbollah fired several rockets at northern Israel on Thursday night, the Israeli military said.
The rockets crossed into Israeli territory before they were intercepted by the air force, according to a statement from the military.
Sirens were heard in the community of Shtula near the Israel-Lebanon border. No casualties have been reported.
The fire came as Israeli and Lebanese officials were in Washington for a second round of negotiations and after several Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon earlier in the day. ■
