BRAZZAVILLE, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Anatole Collinet Makosso has been reappointed as prime minister and head of government of the Republic of the Congo, according to a presidential decree read on national television late Thursday night.
The reappointment follows President Denis Sassou Nguesso's swearing-in and inauguration on April 16 for a new five-year term.
Makosso was first appointed prime minister and head of government on May 13, 2021, and has remained in the post since. ■
