MADRID, April 22 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona clinched the Liga F title on Wednesday with a 4-1 win away to Espanyol.
Goals from Carla Julia, Caroline Graham Hansen and Martine Fenger secured the victory, as Barcelona sealed its seventh consecutive league title to underline its dominance in Spain.
Barcelona has won 25 of its 26 league matches this season, collecting 75 points from a possible 78. The team has scored 116 goals and conceded just seven, with its only defeat a 1-0 loss away to Real Sociedad in November.
The scale of the achievement is heightened by the absence of star player Aitana Bonmati, who missed five months with a broken leg suffered in November and has only recently returned to full training.
Barcelona will face Bayern Munich on Saturday, targeting a fourth Women's Champions League title after finishing runner-up to Arsenal last season. ■
