BEIRUT -- Hezbollah said it launched rockets and attack drones at an Israeli artillery position in the settlement of Kfar Giladi on Tuesday evening, marking an escalation despite an ongoing ceasefire.
The group said in a statement that the attack targeted the source of recent Israeli artillery fire toward the Lebanese town of Yahmar al-Shaqif, describing the strike as a response to what it called repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire since it took effect, including attacks on civilians and destruction of homes in southern Lebanon. TEHRAN -- Iran's national carrier, Iran Air, will resume its domestic flights as of Wednesday after a suspension lasting around 50 days, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Tuesday.
The first flight, from Tehran's Mehrabad Airport to the northeastern city of Mashhad, will take off at 10 a.m. (0630 GMT) from Mehrabad International Airport, with the return flight scheduled for 12:30 p.m. the same day, the report added. (Iran-Flights-Resumptions)

ADEN, Yemen -- The office of the UN special envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, said Tuesday that it has concluded a new round of technical military meetings in Amman, capital of Jordan, aimed at facilitating de-escalation between Yemen's parties.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, the envoy's office said the meetings were held from Sunday to Monday. The talks brought together representatives from the internationally recognized Yemeni government, the Joint Forces Command of the Saudi-led coalition backing the government, and the Houthi group.
