NEW DELHI, April 20 (Xinhua) -- At least 21 people were killed and 61 others injured, some of them critically, on Monday after a bus they were in skidded off the road and rolled down a hilly terrain in Indian-controlled Kashmir, officials said.
The accident took place at Kagort village in the Ramnagar area of Udhampur district, about 220 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Reports said the overcrowded bus crushed an auto-rickshaw before landing upside down on the road below. ■
