MOSCOW, April 18 (Xinhua) -- One Chinese citizen was killed and 10 others injured after a passenger bus overturned in Russia's Zabaikalsky region, the Chinese Consulate General in Irkutsk, Russia, confirmed on Saturday.
The accident occurred at around 2:40 p.m. local time (0540 GMT) when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and overturn, according to the regional government.
The regional health ministry said the injured have been hospitalized and will be evacuated by air ambulance to the regional capital of Chita for further treatment. ■
