TEHRAN, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Military vessels are prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and only civilian vessels can pass through it via designated routes and with the permission of the Navy of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, the state-run IRIB news agency reported Friday, citing a senior military official. ■
