TEHRAN, April 15 (Xinhua) -- A U.S.-sanctioned Iranian supertanker openly entered Iranian waters after passing through international waters and the Strait of Hormuz, the semi-official Fars news agency reported Wednesday.
The supertanker, with a 2-million-barrel capacity, defied U.S. sanctions by keeping its tracking system on and reached its destination without interference, said the report. ■
