JERUSALEM, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Tuesday the United States and Israel have made the removal of enriched material from Iran as a condition for ending their joint offensive.
Speaking in a public address, Katz claimed that Israeli-U.S. attacks "destroyed" Iran's ability to produce nuclear weapons.
"The only remaining issue is the enriched material, which could potentially serve as a basis for attempting to restart the (nuclear) project," Katz said. "Therefore, the United States and Israel have defined the removal of the material from Iran as a prerequisite for ending the (military) campaign." ■
