BUENOS AIRES, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Lucas Zelarayan scored in the first half to earn 10-man Belgrano a 1-0 home win over Aldosivi in Argentina's Apertura tournament on Friday.
Zelarayan put his side ahead in the 28th minute by firing in after a scramble inside the 18-yard box.
The host was reduced to 10 men in the 51st minute when Emiliano Rigoni was shown a straight red card for violent conduct.
The visitor had several chances to equalize in the second half but was denied by a series of fine saves from goalkeeper Thiago Cardozo.
Belgrano is now fourth in the 15-team Group B with 22 points, 16 ahead of 14th-placed Aldosivi. ■
