YEREVAN, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Six people, including two children, were killed and five others critically injured when two passenger cars collided in northwestern Armenia on Friday, the country's health ministry said.
The crash occurred near the village of Aghin in Shirak Province at 11:50 a.m. local time (0750 GMT), according to the Armenian Rescue Service.
Ambulances rushed five children to the hospital following the collision, but two could not be saved. The remaining survivors are in serious to critical condition and are receiving intensive care. ■
