YANGON, April 10 (Xinhua) -- The President's Office of Myanmar on Friday announced the formation of a new government comprising 30 ministries, the state-owned Myanmar Radio and Television reported.
U Tin Aung San was appointed Union Minister for the Ministry of the President's Office, while U Mya Tun Oo was appointed Union Minister for two ministries -- the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications.
Alongside the ministries, a Union Consultative Council was also formed, with U Soe Win serving as chairman and U Maung Maung Aye as secretary.
Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing signed the President's Office notifications establishing the new government and council. ■
