KABUL, April 9 (Xinhua) -- A two-day exhibition featuring books and artworks was held in northern Afghanistan's Parwan province, aimed at encouraging reading and showcasing the talent of young artists, local media Tolo news reported on Thursday.
The event displayed a diverse collection of books, paintings, and other creative works produced by emerging artists and writers from the region. Organized to foster public engagement with literature and the arts, the exhibition also served as a platform to support and inspire Afghanistan's youth, the report said.
According to the report, similar cultural initiatives are planned for other provinces in an effort to strengthen educational outreach and promote artistic expression across the country. ■
