ISLAMABAD, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Lebanon, calling it a serious violation of international law and regional sovereignty.
"The Israeli actions undermine international efforts to establish peace and stability in the region and constitute a blatant violation of international law and fundamental humanitarian principles," the Foreign Office said in a statement.
Pakistan called on the international community to take urgent and concrete steps to end the Israeli aggression and reiterated its unwavering solidarity with the government and people of Lebanon, while supporting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. ■
