UNITED NATIONS -- Preliminary findings indicate Israeli tank fire and a Hezbollah explosive were likely responsible for the deaths of three Indonesian peacekeepers in Lebanon last week, a UN spokesperson said Tuesday.
The UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) shared the initial findings of its inquiry with the governments of Indonesia, Israel and Lebanon, said Stephane Dujarric, chief spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
He said these are preliminary findings, based on initial physical evidence, adding that a full UN investigation continues. (UN-Lebanon-UNIFIL)

BAGHDAD -- A drone crashed into a house in Baghdad's western Ameriyah neighborhood Tuesday evening, killing one person and wounding four others from the same family, an Iraqi Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.
Earlier reports said large explosions shook the Iraqi capital Tuesday night.

BUDAPEST -- U.S. Vice President JD Vance attended a campaign rally in Budapest on Tuesday afternoon alongside Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, criticizing European Union (EU) policies and expressing support for Orban ahead of upcoming elections.
