HANOI, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's index of industrial production (IIP) grew 9 percent in the first three months of 2026, local media VnEconomy reported Wednesday, citing data from the National Statistics Office.
According to the office, the figure marked the strongest growth in the past seven years, with the manufacturing and processing sector serving as the main driver, posting 9.7 percent year-on-year growth.
Industrial production increased in all 34 localities across the country, the report said. ■
