YANGON, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported over 2.74 million tonnes of rice and broken rice in the 2025-26 fiscal year (from April 2025 to March 2026), according to the Myanmar Rice Federation on Wednesday.
The country earned 861 million U.S. dollars from rice exports during the period, exporting to more than 30 countries and regions by sea and land, the federation said.
In the fiscal year 2024-25, the country exported 2.48 million tonnes of rice and broken rice, it said. ■
