TEHRAN/JERUSALEM, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Monday that Majid Khademi, head of its intelligence organization, has been killed in a U.S. and Israeli attack.
In a statement on its official news outlet Sepah News, the IRGC said Khademi "attained martyrdom in a terrorist attack by the U.S. and Israeli enemies" early Monday.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said in a statement that it killed Khademi in an airstrike in Tehran, describing him as "one of the IRGC's most senior commanders and had accumulated extensive military and security experience over many years." (Iran-IRGC commander-Death)

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Monday that the country's air force attacked Iran's largest petrochemical facility in Assaluyeh County in the southern Bushehr province.
He said that Israel "has just struck with force the largest petrochemical facility in Iran, located in Assaluyeh," adding that the key site is responsible for about 50 percent of Iran's petrochemical production. (Israel-Iran-Facilities)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi group said on Monday that it had launched a coordinated military attack targeting southern Israel, firing a barrage of cruise missiles and drones at what it described as vital Israeli military sites in the Red Sea city of Eilat.
In a statement broadcast by the group's al-Masirah television, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said the attack was conducted in coordination with the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, the Iranian army and Lebanon's Hezbollah, adding that the operation had "successfully achieved its intended objectives," without providing further details. GAZA -- At least 11 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Monday in Israeli shelling of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, Palestinian security and medical sources said.
