BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 49 km ESE of Rasht, Tajikistan at 1026 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 38.90 degrees north latitude and 70.92 degrees east longitude. ■
