The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 13,731.39 points, up 253.33 points, or 1.88 percent.
The Hang Seng Index opened at 25,357.23 points, up 569.09 points, or 2.30 percent.
The S&P/ASX 200 index opened at 8,618.60 points, up 136.80 points, or 1.61 percent.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average opened at 51,959.47 points, up 895.75 points, or 1.75 percent.
The Straits Times Index opened at 4,950.06 points, up 64.61 points, or 1.32 percent.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index opened at 5,330.04 points, up 277.58 points, or 5.49 percent.
