BEIJING, April 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Near East Coast of Honshu, Japan at 0106 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 70.4 km, was initially determined to be at 36.05 degrees north latitude and 140.03 degrees east longitude. ■
