KABUL, April 1 (Xinhua) -- A total of 31 new telecommunication towers were activated over the past year, bringing nearly 90 percent of eastern Afghanistan's Logar province under network coverage, local media outlet Tolo news reported on Wednesday.
The report said that currently, 107 towers are operational across the province, providing both internet and voice communication services to residents.
Officials noted that the expansion aims to enhance connectivity and improve access to digital services for communities throughout Logar. ■
