TEHRAN, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Loud explosions were heard in Tehran at around 5:35 a.m. local time (0205 GMT) on Wednesday, and thick smoke could be seen rising from eastern and southern parts of the Iranian capital.
Local media have not reported any casualties so far. ■
