NEW DELHI, March 30 (Xinhua) -- India's factory activity growth, determined by the Index of Industrial Production, grew 5.2 percent in February, the government data showed Monday.
The surge in the industrial output was driven by a 6-percent growth in the manufacturing sector, reads the data issued by the federal Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
The growth rates for the mining, manufacturing and electricity sectors in February 2026 are 3.1 percent, 6.0 percent and 2.3 percent, respectively, the ministry said. ■
