BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 145 km E of Hihifo, Tonga at 2335 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 15.92 degrees south latitude and 172.44 degrees west longitude. ■
