MANAMA, March 24 (Xinhua) -- The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced on Tuesday that a member of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces, a Moroccan national, was killed and several others were injured while responding to Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom.
According to the Bahrain News Agency, the BDF confirmed that personnel from both the BDF and the UAE Armed Forces sustained injures during the operation.
It said the injured were promptly evacuated for medical care, with most suffering minor to moderate injuries. The majority have since been discharged from the hospital, and their conditions remain under close observation.
The BDF reported on Tuesday that since the onset of Iranian attacks, 153 missiles and 301 drones have been intercepted. ■
