BEIRUT, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Israeli warplanes struck Qasmiyeh Bridge on the Litani River in southern Lebanon on Sunday, a key crossing on the country's longest river, the National News Agency reported.
Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had ordered the military to "immediately" destroy all bridges over the Litani River used by Hezbollah. ■
