JERUSALEM -- Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Saturday that the intensity of strikes on the Iranian government and the country's infrastructure by the United States and Israel will increase "significantly" in the coming week.

TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said mediation efforts are underway by several countries to end the U.S. and Israeli war against Iran.

KHARTOUM -- More than 60 people, including 12 children, were killed in a drone strike on Friday that targeted Al-Daein Teaching Hospital in East Darfur state, western Sudan, according to statements released Saturday by local and UN sources.
The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces said the strike on Friday evening also injured 113 people, completely destroyed the upper floor of the hospital's emergency department, and caused extensive damage to the hospital's infrastructure and medical equipment, adding that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble as search and rescue operations continue. JERUSALEM -- Israel's national emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) said in a statement that at least 64 people were injured on Saturday night in the southern Israeli city of Arad by a missile fired from Iran.
According to the MDA, seven people were seriously injured, 15 moderately injured, and the rest lightly injured. (Israel-Iran-Missile) ■
