BEIJING, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday that the current situation in the Middle East is still deteriorating, affecting global energy supply stability and triggering a severe humanitarian crisis.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks in a phone conversation with Emmanuel Bonne, diplomatic adviser to the French president, at the latter's request. ■
