ABU DHABI, March 19 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates on early Thursday denied reports claiming that it has imposed restrictions on capital movement or prevented foreign investors from transferring or disposing of their funds.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism said that such reports circulating on certain platforms are inaccurate.
The ministry reaffirmed the country's firm commitment to economic openness and the free movement of capital, in line with international best practices.
It added that the UAE continues to promote a stable and attractive investment environment for both domestic and international investors. ■
