SINGAPORE, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 4 percent year-on-year in February, easing from the 9.2 percent growth recorded in January, data released by Enterprise Singapore showed on Tuesday.
Electronic NODX expanded 43.2 percent, while non-electronic NODX contracted 6.9 percent.
Non-oil re-exports increased 21.9 percent year-on-year in February, moderating from the 51.3 percent expansion in the previous month.
Overall, total merchandise trade grew 13.6 percent in February, slowing from the 23.8 percent rise in January, with both exports and imports posting gains. ■
