JERUSALEM, March 17 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced early Tuesday that it has launched simultaneous wide-scale strikes targeting infrastructure of the Iranian government in Tehran and Hezbollah positions in Beirut.
Concurrently, sirens sounded across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, as the IDF reported detecting incoming Iranian missiles. ■
