JERUSALEM, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The Rafah Crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt will reopen on Wednesday for limited two-way pedestrian movement, Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced on Sunday.
The crossing was closed on Feb. 28, following the launch of the U.S.-Israeli attack against Iran. According to the COGAT statement, the reopening will apply to people only, with no indication that cargo or commercial traffic will be permitted at this time. ■
