BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 1743 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 16.56 degrees north latitude and 46.55 degrees west longitude. ■
