HANOI, March 12 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed in a traffic accident in central Vietnam's Quang Ngai province early Thursday, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) reported.
The incident occurred at around 0:11 a.m., when a truck rear-ended a tractor-trailer parked on the roadside, leaving a passenger in the truck dead at the scene and damaging both vehicles, the report said.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. ■
