HANOI, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's auto sales totaled 19,278 units in February, down 48 percent from the previous month, the Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

Of the total, passenger cars accounted for the largest share, with 12,376 units sold, down 53 percent month on month, followed by 6,542 commercial vehicles and 360 special-purpose vehicles, according to the report, citing the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association (VAMA).
