DHAKA, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Four Bangladeshi nationals have been killed since the escalation of regional tensions in the Middle East, Bangladeshi State Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Md Nurul Haque said on Monday.
"One each was killed in Bahrain and Dubai, and two in Saudi Arabia," the minister said at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka after receiving the body of a Bangladeshi national killed in Dubai.
Steps are underway to return all the bodies of the deceased to their families, he said.
The minister urged Bangladeshi expatriates in the Middle East to stay away from conflict-prone areas and to avoid sharing any content on social media that might breach the laws of their host countries. ■
