JERUSALEM, March 10 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli military said on Tuesday morning that the country's air defense systems intercepted a missile launched from Iran towards central Israel.
The missile activated air raid sirens across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, as well as in Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank.
Rescue services reported no injuries.
The incident came as the deadly regional conflict stretched into its 11th day. ■
