DHAKA, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Inflation in Bangladesh accelerated to 9.13 percent in February, marking its highest level since April 2025, the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) reported on Sunday.
The increase was driven by both food and non-food prices, according to BBS.
Food inflation soared 9.30 percent in February, up from 8.29 percent a month ago.
The inflation of non-food items increased to 9.01 percent in February from 8.81 percent in January, the data showed. ■
