JERUSALEM, March 7 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Saturday that it has completed a new wave of strikes against Hezbollah targets in several areas of Lebanon overnight.
The strikes targeted rocket launchers, weapons storage facilities, and other military sites belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and in the Bekaa Valley, eastern Lebanon, the IDF said in a statement.
It added that commanders of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force and two Radwan Force command centers were struck in the area of Majdal Selem in southern Lebanon.
The IDF claimed that the attacked commanders had recently operated to advance and carry out various attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. ■
