WELLINGTON, March 6 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand will step up engagement with Brazil across trade, education and cultural sectors following Foreign Minister Winston Peters's visit to Latin America's largest country, a New Zealand government statement said Friday.
The visit to Brazil highlighted a range of areas, including agriculture, aviation, trade and investment, education and film collaboration, the statement quoted Peters as saying.
During the visit, Peters and Brazil's Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira signed an audiovisual co-production agreement to boost screen industry links and an education cooperation arrangement aimed at increasing student exchanges and academic collaboration, the statement said. ■
