BANGKOK -- Thailand's Election Commission on Wednesday officially certified 499 parliamentary seats won in the February general election, paving the way for a new House of Representatives to convene.
The commission resolved to endorse all 100 party-list Members of Parliament (MPs) and three additional constituency MPs, said Phasakorn Siriphakayaporn, deputy secretary-general of the Election Commission. (Thailand-Election-Result)

DHAKA -- Bangladesh's national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines announced on Tuesday an indefinite suspension of operations on six routes due to the prevailing security situation in the Middle East.

SEOUL -- South Korean stocks tumbled more than 12 percent on Wednesday amid circuit breakers, triggered by the escalating Middle East conflict that led to panic selling for the second straight session.
