TOKYO, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The Tokyo High Court on Wednesday upheld a lower court's order to dissolve the religious group previously known as the Unification Church.
The Tokyo District Court issued the first-ever dissolution order in March last year over the group's practices of soliciting large donations from members, saying the group caused financial damage of about 130 million U.S. dollars to more than 1,500 people. ■
