SOFIA, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Bulgaria's caretaker Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Angelina Todorova-Boneva, has resigned "for health reasons," the government said in a statement on Wednesday.
Nikolay Naydenov, currently deputy minister of the ministry, will take over Todorova-Boneva's work, the statement added.
This was the second resignation in the caretaker government, which took office on Feb. 19.
Stoil Tzitzelkov, the deputy prime minister who was specifically responsible for the preparation of the upcoming parliamentary elections, resigned on Feb. 20, after lawmakers and certain media criticized that he had been arrested for drug use and detained for driving under the influence of alcohol over a decade ago, according to the Bulgarian News Agency. ■
